Follow Arran’s story through 100 million years of geological time. Find evidence for stormy deserts, tropical seas, and ancient volcanoes. Meet in front of Corrie Primary School.
Drumadoon and King’s Cave – 11am
Explore Arran’s beautiful west coast, including King’s Cave and the spectacular Drumadoon sill. See evidence for the island’s magmatic past, and find footprints left by the mysterious “hand-beast”. Meet at Forestry Commission King’s Cave car park.
